E-mail etiquette (part 1)

I think I'm gonna write a book on e-mail etiquette. For those of you who don't realize, it's not cool to send someone a 2MB picture when you can resize it and make it a few KB's. Obviously if you are sending it to be printed it must be full resolution, but c'mon, if you just want to share with me the great time you had skiing yesterday, please resize your pictures before sending them. I have enough things clogging my e-mail inbox, I don't need your 2MB picture to be one of them. One of these days when I have time I'll write my gripes about people forwarding e-mails improperly. Stay tuned.

Great post! I am encouraged when folks type about this very important topic that all too many disregard. When it comes to attachments, just because you can doesn't mean you do!

I have a site full of free E-mail Etiquette services, articles, a Blog and even a Netiquette Quiz.

Why not stop by NetManners.com and check out my article Don't Attach That!?

Take care ~
